THE STORY SO FAR
It all began with a pandemic and the book of Micah…
During the UK ‘Coronavirus lockdown’ I was reading the book of Micah. Its message of hope and acknowledgment of present hardships inspired me to set it to music.
My wife and I recorded it and sent a video to friends, in order to encourage Christians to persevere in a dark time.
I spoke to Dad, Steven – a TV composer and church minister – who suggested we work together on more songs that could continue this simple, unique aim:
Write songs, based on Bible books, to encourage Christians.
Soon we we had a handful of songs which captured, as best we could, the wonderful truths of a few Bible books.
The styles vary (as does each book!), but the original hope remains the same:
That by singing the truths of God’s word, we can help each other to love and trust God as we run the race of faith.
